I.S. Learning - Terms of use
Use of the site
Use of the I.S. Learning site (hereinafter referred to as the "site") is governed by these provisions.
Use of the site and interaction in any form presupposes knowledge and acceptance of the general terms of service. Any user of this site also agrees to these terms of use.
We endeavour to ensure that the information on this site is as accurate and up-to-date as possible. Although we endeavour to do so, we do not guarantee that all the information, cross-references or details are entirely correct. Users of this site therefore accept that any use they make of it and its content is at their own risk.
I.S. Learning reserves the right to change the general terms and conditions of service, the terms of use or any other provision of its policies and conditions at any time, without prior notice and without retroactive application to service contracts in force at the time. Likewise, as a result of technological developments and the characteristics of the services provided, we reserve the right to change any information contained on any page of this site, revise or add new features or make changes to the layout, without prior notice. In particular, clients, partners and language professionals are advised to check this site regularly to be aware of any changes.
Violation of any of the provisions of the policies and conditions of this site may result, depending on the case, in exclusion from the reserved area of the site, exclusion from the pool of language professionals and suspension of the specific conditions agreed for future projects admitted to I.S. Learning, or civil action in cases where this is appropriate.
I.S. Learning shall not be liable for any damage resulting from access to or use of the site, or from the risks taken in using the site, or from possible errors or omissions contained herein.
The images, texts, animations, videos, and all the parts that make up this site, in particular the forms, are protected by intellectual property and/or copyright, and may not be distributed, transferred, transformed, published or used in any other way, even in part, without prior express written authorisation. This prohibition extends to the distribution, transfer, transformation, publication or any other form of use, in part or in whole, of the source code of this site or the add-ons that make it up.
The site has a blog area where articles are periodically posted. The blog is public and allows comments to be added by people registered on the Facebook social network. Any content which, in the judgement of I.S. Learning, is considered to be discriminatory, offensive, repressive, morally objectionable or illegal, entered in comments by any visitor to the blog on this site, will be removed at any time and without prior warning or explanation, whatever form that content takes.
I.S. Learning is responsible for the content of the site posted by itself or at its request, and does not publish any content, versions of that content, new versions of the site (releases), updates to add-ons and links to external sites without first reviewing and approving them.
Exclusion of liability
1. I.S. Learning cannot, under any circumstances, be held responsible for the use that each user makes of the site or from it, and will decline any claim resulting from incorrect or inadequate treatment of the information and options on the site. Inadequate treatment is understood to mean:
The use of any interactive component for false purposes, in a manner contrary to the explanations or in such a way as to create problems in its operation or in the operation of the website.
The use of information from this website for illicit purposes or for them to refer to this website in any way.
Subverting the interpretation of content in order to support opinions contrary to what is actually stated here, or to what has been conveyed in person, by e-mail or telephone, in contacts with I.S. Learning.
2. Under no circumstances is the continuous operation of this site guaranteed, nor is the absence of technical problems, errors or typographical inaccuracies, the dependence of which on external organisations exonerates I.S. Learning from these responsibilities. I.S. Learning is also not responsible for the proper functioning and content of the hyperlinks to external sites that appear on this site, which are the responsibility of their respective authors, recognising only the importance of the content published at the time of inclusion on this site and which justified the availability of these hyperlinks.
3. I.S. Learning is not responsible for the content of comments added to articles published on its blog by any visitor to the site, whether or not they have subscribed to it in the ways provided, who chooses to do so of their own free will. As a result, it can under no circumstances be held liable for any damage that such information or content, by its nature, may entail, and may delete it without prior notice and take action against the authors of such content if it proves to be discriminatory, offensive or objectionable, mentions or refers to illegal activities, if it is the result of an attempt to jeopardise the normal operation of the site, in part or in whole, or if in any other way it is harmful to the operation of the site, including negative influence on users who may have access to such information under the site's rules, or if it is detrimental to the good name of I. S. Learning.S. Learning.
4. I.S. Learning is not liable for any tangible or intangible damage arising from access to the information provided, use of incorrect or incomplete information, unless I.S. Learning, through wilful misconduct or gross negligence, causes damage, and whenever such information results from content published on its initiative, thus excluding content added by registered users.
5. I.S. Learning assumes no responsibility for any damage, moral or material, or any adverse consequence, including rejection of users or cancellation of subscriptions, that may result from the sharing of content on this site by any visitor on social networks or on any site where, on their own initiative, they choose to do so.
6. I.S. Learning assumes no responsibility for the operation, accuracy, integrity, quality or legality of any external link on this site, since I.S. Learning has no control over this content or its maintenance. Any user of the I.S. Learning site should address any complaints they wish to make about these sites directly to them, by contacting the person responsible, the owner or the provider. We encourage everyone to provide us with this information once they have confirmed and reiterated that one of these sites is malfunctioning or in breach of the law, so that we can consider removing the link in question.
7. On pages where there is the possibility of registering and submitting personal or business data, such as e-mail addresses, names and telephone numbers, the registration of such information is always done at the express will of the user.
These terms of use and all the provisions contained in the policies and conditions of this site, understood as defined above, are part of I.S. Learning's offer of services via the Internet. In the event that specific parts of the content do not or no longer correspond to the legislation in force, the remainder of the content and validity will not be affected.
We will be happy to answer any questions about the General Conditions of Service, the Terms of Use and other site policies by e-mailing geral@isleiria.pt.
